<p>Valentyn S. Volkov, PhD, is an internationally renowned expert in the field of nanophotonics and advanced materials, with two decades of experience at leading universities and research centers. His contributions to the field have been substantial, with over 300 published papers and an impressive citation count exceeding 10000.</p> <p>Valentyn’s research spans a wide range of topics in nanotechnology and materials science, including linear and nonlinear nano-optics, near-field optical microscopy and spectroscopy, plasmon-based nanophotonics, and integrated optics. He is particularly renowned for his pioneering work in nano-optics and the development of nanophotonic waveguide structures, including photonics integrated circuits based on low-dimensional and van der Waals materials. These results form the backbone for the development of XPANCEO smart lenses. His current research interests primarily focus on the field of graphene nanophotonics, 2D materials, sensing, biosensors, and functional 2D materials-based devices.<br />  </p>

Sven is an ex videogame veteran (Larian Studios, PlayStation), who's the driving force behind Tropos AR, a leading AR company that has delivered over 80 large scale AR expriences, all running on their in-house Tropos AR SDK technology. In 2004, he conceived the first simulator dedicated to the training of the welding motion. He created MIMBUS in 2011 to provide the vocational training centres with a global offer. Two years later, he created the unique simulator of its kind in the world capable of training carpenter and cabinet marker. He is member of the European Vocational Training Association and he regularly gives a talk to promote the use of the new technologies and the artificial intelligence dedicated to the vocational training.</p>

Michael Ronen is an award-winning immersive director, tech entrepreneur, and the visionary behind the Play Economy—a framework that merges play, simulations, and advanced technology to transform consumer engagement and drive business innovation.<br /> <br /> Michael’s journey began in theater, where he earned the prestigious Nestroy Prize as a lead actor in Vienna. Helmut Schrom-Feiertag received his Master's degree in Telematics from Graz University of Technology and is a scientist at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology in Vienna, Austria, for two decades. His main research interests are in the domain of immersive virtual Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), specifically the topics of Virtual, Mixed and Extended Reality (VR, MR, XR) used for research, prototyping and training. The focus is primarily on the development of adaptive immersive training systems that can interpret the state and actions of users in the simulated virtual context and optimally adapt to users and their individual behaviour. This provides an optimal basis for personalised and highly efficient training for challenging environments.

Lisa Maria Egger began as a performance artist in a theatre in 2004, then worked as an art reporter and presenter in the TV industry. In 2009, she became a production manager and producer for GO! Pictures and later co-founded "GO! Pictures KG" and its XR studio label "GO!insideVR" together with director Gero A.E. Egger in 2017. They specialize in narrative VR/360° experiences and immersive storytelling. <p>Daniel Wagner joined Snap in 2019 and is heading the software development of Snap’s Spectacles program in his role as Senior Director Software Engineering. Before joining Snap, Daniel was Chief Scientist and later CTO at Daqri, where he developed novel industrial Augmented Reality software and hardware. Daniel is based in Vienna, Austria and has 24 years of industrial and academic experience in the field of Augmented Reality. He is well known for pioneering the research area of Augmented Reality on mobile phones. During his PhD study he developed the first 6DOF natural feature tracker running in real-time on smartphones. His seminal PhD thesis “Handheld Augmented Reality” laid the foundation for the advent of Augmented Reality on mobile phones. After his university career that led to the development of the Vuforia AR library, Daniel joined Qualcomm’s research team and continued his work on mobile phone Augmented Reality. Shan holds a Master’s degree in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to joining Niantic, she served as a production fellow at Schell Games and completed engineering internships at Unity Technologies and Psychic VR Lab in Japan. Recognized with honors such as the Pausch Award and scholarships from D.I.C.E. and CYSTEM, Shan is passionate about blending creative design and cutting-edge technology to invent the future of immersive experiences.

Laura Chambers is a Design Engineer at Snap based in Los Angeles, California. As a member of the Snap Lab product team, Laura designs and builds AR experiences for Spectacles, with a focus on multiplayer Connected Lenses. Laura has degrees in Kinesiology from Queen's University and Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo and has worked on wearables ranging from Focals smart glasses at North (acquired by Google) to Vision Pro at Apple

Mr. Aska Yeung has over 18 years of experience in multimedia design industry and participated in a number of public, private and design projects. In 2013, he was commissioned by the Hong Kong Tourism Board as the supplier of music and lighting design for the Mid-Autumn Special Programme "Lantern Wonderland". Continuously, he also passionate to curate event and exhibition to deliver Art-Tech experience to audience. Nevertheless, he continuous to develop creative cultural heritage through experience design with multimedia technologies. He also acts as external committee member for the Academic Committee in Associate of Arts in Media, Cultural and Creative Studies and Higher Diploma in Public Relations and Corporate Communications programme in the University of Hong Kong (HKUSPACE), Chairman of Hong Kong Multimedia Design Association and Creative Director of MateZ Lab Limited incubated by Hong Kong Cyberport.

Dr. Fattah is an experienced engineer and academic with a background in aerospace engineering and technology innovation. He has conducted 12 years of research and development, collaborating with major aerospace industries in Europe and China, and played a key role in establishing advanced laboratories and training programs in aerospace engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.<br /> <br /> Since 2021, Dr. Fattah co-founded VisionARi to address the growing digital needs of educators in schools and higher education. As CEO, he oversees product development and technological innovation, leveraging his expertise in complex systems and project management to drive successful<br /> implementations across Hong Kong.

Louis Sze is the CEO and co-founder of Syngular Tech, which is a medical augment reality solution company, focusing on using AR to provide visual spatial guidance to surgery. Before his recent venture in Syngular Tech, Louis also founded two other medtech companies, which specialized in medical 3D printing and AI assisted retinal image diagnostic respectively. <br /> <br /> As a serial entrepreneur, Louis has a background in biomedical engineering, orthopedics, artificial intelligence and XR.

Dace is a professionally licensed architect with extensive experience developing and implementing strategy and innovation, to help AEC companies realize tangible business results from their investment in technology. Specifically, he has deep subject matter expertise in XR technology: researching, developing, testing, and applying XR on hundreds of successful projects over his career. He has championed the use of virtual reality and augmented reality in industry, and has proven they enhance productivity, sustainability, and equity for designers, builders, and owners. His projects have been recognized with multiple awards for furthering industry excellence, including four AIA Technology and Practice BIM Awards and the Microsoft HoloLens AEC Use Case of the Year Award.</p>

Mario Zeppetzauer is the CEO of formquadrat, a leading design and innovation studio in Austria. With over two decades of experience, he has worked extensively with corporate clients to transform ideas into innovative products. Mario is also a professor at the University of Art and Design Linz, focusing on industrial design. Under his leadership, formquadrat has pioneered XR-driven product development, working with global clients across sectors such as mobility, technology, and consumer goods.
