Over the last 100 years, technology has changed our world. Over the next decade, the convergence of spatial computing and artificial intelligence will transform our reality. In this session, XR pioneers Alvin Graylin and Louis Rosenberg will discuss the issues raised in their new book, Our Next Reality, about the future of computing and the impact that artificial intelligence and immersive media will have on society. This session, like the book, will be structured as a dialog on whether the new world we're creating will be a technological utopia or an AI-powered dystopia and will give guidance on how to aim for the best future we can. At the end of the session we will also provide a handful of predictions about the future of computing generated by a group of XR experts who deliberated as real-time collective intelligence. It should be enlightening.
