For humanity to succeed, we must work together. However, it has become increasingly tempting to turn inward, live heads-down in our personal devices, and become myopically focused on our individual tasks. As we shape the future of work through the next generation of XR, it is essential that we carefully consider the future of collaboration. It is essential that we design experiences where people can effectively come together to co-create in spatial environments. This talk will examine design principles for collaborating in augmented reality. We will discuss tactics for fostering cooperation and how to unlock group flow through thoughtful design. Magic Leap spotlight applications (Workshop and Assist) along with strategic partnerships will be featured as supporting use cases.
