AI is leading to a democratization of data science, and AR is a natural next step in computing. Together, they can help users have the best data collaboration and conversation they have ever experienced, and leave the meeting feeling like they have a clear mental model and making a great data-driven decision. In the enterprise, most data is presented in bar charts pasted into PowerPoint. Even dashboards are often left to experts to navigate. Humanity has problems that need better data communication to solve, but we need a way to increase the credibility of the data through greater detail (stereo vision reduces visual crowding), increase depth of understanding through ease of data filtering and navigation, increase ease of converting datasets into visualizations, and simplify storytelling and collaboration to make executives and stakeholders build great mental models.
