Earlier this year, Palmer Luckey, founder of Anduril, announced that his company had taken over development of IVAS (Integrated Visual Augmentation System), an AR headset originally developed by Microsoft to give US soldiers visual superpowers on the battlefield. Luckey, who also founded Oculus VR, knows a bit about developing VR headsets and he seems passionate and determined to develop tools that integrate XR and advance military technology.
