Stephanie Llamas is a veteran analyst in the immersive industry. She was the third hire at SuperData, a games market research firm, where in 2014 she began their XR practice. After SuperData was acquired in 2018 by Nielsen, she became Nielsen's head of games and XR research and strategy. She then went on to play a lead role in the World Economic Forum's metaverse initiative, publishing reports on XR and Web3, and managing a stakeholder community of over 150 professionals and academics. Currently, is Head of Content and XR Lead at BITKRAFT Ventures, where she serves as a researcher and investment advisor, bringing in deal flow and leading conversations with XR companies. Stephanie's insights have been featured in media such as NPR, Forbes, WSJ, NYTimes and MSNBC, and a number of industry events including CES and SXSW. She is also a contributing author in Charlie Fink's XR publications.
