Ellysse Dick El-Shrafi is a Policy Manager at Meta's Reality Labs, supporting product teams navigating regulatory environments around immersive and AI-augmented experiences. She currently leads policy and product advocacy strategy for AI wearables. Ellysse began her policy career as a think tank program manager, where she built expertise in issue areas that have informed her approach to tech policy from women's leadership to free expression. Prior to Meta, she led AR/VR research at the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation and established the inaugural AR/VR Policy Conference in 2021.
Ellysse holds a BA in International Affairs and German Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School. She lives in Washington, DC with her wife and two cats.
