John Iaia is a subject matter expert on XR (Extended Reality) and AI (Artificial Intelligence) spanning the full technology chain across hardware and software. John has been driving enterprise adoption of AI & XR (Augmented / Virtual / Mixed Reality) technology since his first foray into Computer Vision / Machine Learning technologies during his time at Qualcomm in 2013. 

At Lenovo, John is the Global Head of Strategic Alliances for the ThinkReality Division. He manages strategy, partnerships & investments with key leaders in the technology ecosystem: software solution providers, headset manufacturers, technology platforms (AI/CV/Silicon/Cloud), 3D rendering engines, and research entities - amongst other key players. Because of this extensive network he specializes in creating deep technology partnerships – enabling F500s and startups alike to achieve their strategic vision of business value. In the past he has built and scaled GTM teams in high growth, high complexity SaaS businesses from zero to 8 figure annual recurring revenue.

Aside from the commercialization of nascent technologies, John is highly involved in research, mentorship and thought leadership. He speaks frequently on the XR/AI industry and is an advisor/board member for a number of early-stage startups & venture capital funds. Based in sunny Southern California, he is also an avid surfer, environmentalist and pilot who is involved with non-profits furthering aforementioned causes.
